Salted Caramel Baked Oats

Wake up every morning with sweet, salty and delicious energy that can’t be beat!
Baked Oats Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
- 1/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Date Caramel Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup dates
- 1 tbsp milk of choice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
HOW TO DO IT:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- To make the Date Caramel, chop up your dates and soak in hot water for 10-15mins to soften. Once soft, add to a food processor/blender and blend until a smooth caramel consistency. Scoop into a small jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- To make Baked Oats, add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour half of the batter into a greased oven safe ramekin. Scoop a spoonful of date caramel into the middle of the ramekin and swirl into the batter. Top with remaining batter and an Awake Chocolate for an extra caffeine and chocolate boost.
- Bake for 25-30 mins until cooked through. Let cool and enjoy.
